Work on Marina Point trailer sites has begun

Work has begun on the seven new vacation trailer sites on Marina Point.

The work includes “earthwork, tree removal, installation of new water and sewer lines and service connections, and preparation of the site pad and finish grades,” according to the Oct. 12 City Council Agenda.

In October the City Council approved a contract with Glander Excavating to prepare the sites for seven trailers moving from along the marina’s inner harbor to the point to make way for an overhaul of the Ohuta Park beach area.
