Care center residents being vaccinated

COVID-19 vaccinations began for staff and residents at the Care Center in Lake City on Wednesday, Jan. 6, according to a news release.

The initial phase of the COVID-19 vaccination program, referred to as Phase 1a, includes health care personnel and residents of long-term care facilities.

“It was a great day, as we could feel the excitement and relief in the fight to prevent COVID-19,” says Mackenzie Harnisch, administrator, Lake City Care Center.
