Five for Food’s 2022 goal is $40,000

Five for Food, an initiative of the Greater Lake City Community Foundation for the Lake City Food Shelf, has begun its eighth year. The drive will end on March 31.
Twenty-five sponsors have pledged $18,500. The sponsors’ funds are pooled to match dollar for dollar contributions $5 and greater up the total of the sponsors’ pool. The goal for 2022 is $40,000. Last year, Five for Food raised $41,065.
