Fishing tourney raises money to fight children’s cancer

It’s time for the Sheephead Classic Fishing Tournament again.

The 19th Annual fundraiser supporting the fight against childhood cancer will take place in Nelson, Wis, on Saturday June 25, rain or shine.

“The event is dedicated in memory of Ashley Brommer who lost her fight against leukemia in 2001,” according to a news release.

All proceeds benefit The Children’s Cancer Research Fund. The event takes place at Werner’s Top Hat Bar in downtown Nelson, Wis., from noon to 10 p.m.
