Blessing of the animals is Oct. 9 at St. Mark’s
The Rev. Pat VanHouten of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church invites the community to join church parishioners for a blessing of the animals on Sunday, Oct. 9, at 10 a.m.
Any and all leashed pets with their owners are welcome to join this service and blessing.
Rev. VanHouten’s sermon will tell the story of St. Francis of Assisi who loved all animals and promises that the service will be enjoyable and uplifting for all ages and all faith communities.
St. Mark’s Episcopal Church is located at 110 S. Oak St., Lake City.
