City seeks applicants for council appointment

The City of Lake City is seeking applicants from people who want to fill a vacancy on the City Council.
Now former Council Member Katie Novak resigned from the council on Sept. 11. The council accepted the resignation the following day at its regular meeting.
Applicants will be considered by the council for an appointment to the seat for the remainder of Novak’s term, which ends in January, 2025.
