Volleyball: Two shutouts for Tigers
The Lake City Tiger volleyball team had two shutout matches recently.
On Sept. 29 they defeated St. Charles 3-0. Game scores were 25-15, 25-19, and 25-23.
Mahli Benjamin had 12 kills, 13 digs, and 1 block; Ella Matzke had 7 digs, 2 aces, and 15 assists; Brooklyn Gulden had 7 kills, 3 digs, 2 aces, 3 blocks; Natalie LaBonte had 10 kills, 3 digs; and Emma Narum: 2 digs, 10 assists.
On Oct. 3 they played Dover-Eyota and again won 3-0. The game scores were 25-17, 25-12, and 25-18.
