From windows to walls, high-profile local projects show progress
The ground is frozen, but that hasn’t stopped two things growing out of it over the last few weeks.
Recently-erected walls can now be seen at two high-profile local construction projects: the Ohuta Beach pavilion on the city’s lakefront and the Underwood Terrace apartment complex on North 10th Street.
The pavilion is the capstone of the multi-year, multi-million dollar reimagining of the area now known as Ohuta Beach. It will feature four-season restrooms, among other amenities, and it will replace the block beach house demolished years ago.
