Heise returns to home ice for Wild documentary

The reigning recipient of NCAA Division 1 women’s hockey’s top individual honor and the most valuable player at the most recent women’s world championships was back on the ice where she had some of her earliest experiences with the sport Dec. 28.

Lake City native Taylor Heise will be featured with other well-known players in a three-part documentary produced by the Minnesota Wild. On Dec. 28 a film crew interviewed her at her home in rural Lake City and at the ice rink at Underwood Park, where she participated in youth hockey as a child.
