North 7th Street rebuild begins this spring

The stretch of North 7th Street from Monroe Street to Grant Street will undergo a $3.9 million reconstruction this year.
On Monday, Jan. 9, the Lake City City Council approved plans and specifications for the project, and set the bidding period to begin Jan. 10 with bid opening on Jan. 31.
Construction is expected to begin in April and end in October.
