Five for Food raises a record $45,612 for Lake City Food Shelf

Five for Food, an initiative of the Greater Lake City Community Foundation for the Lake City Food Shelf, has completed its ninth year with a record $45,612 in total donations. The 2023 donations exceeded the previous record donations of $42,259 last year. Twenty-eight sponsors agreed to donate between $500 and $1,500. The sponsor funds, totaling $22,150, were pooled to match donations from the community. The goal for this year was $50,000.
