Peters will talk Camp Lakeview history on May 2 at library
The Lake City Public Library invites the public to a book talk led by local author and resident Andru Peters.
He will discuss his book History of Camp Lakeview National Guard Training Camp, which “shares the history of Lake City, founded in 1872, and its Camp Lakeview, a space where Minnesota National Guardsmen and state militia members trained for 50 years in the 19th and 20th centuries,” according to the publisher.
This event takes place on Tuesday, May 2, at 2 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
