Boys tennis: Heise and Meincke win section, fall in second round at state
On May 30, Lake City High School boys tennis team members Ryan Heise and Jack Meincke continued secton doubles play facing off against the Lourdes Eagles pairing of Jack Fitzgerald and Ethan Hubbard.
Heise and Meincke played great and won the match 6-2, 6-3. In the secton championship they matched up against a strong Cotter duo.
The Lake City team played some of their best tennis of the season to win the match 6-2, 6-1 and won the section championship in doubles. This win catapulted them into the state tournament.
