Gardiner book meet-and-greet set for Sunday
Lake City Area Arts is hosting a meet and greet and book-signing event for local author Steve Gardiner, who just released his latest book, “Historic Bridges of Southeast Minnesota.”
Gardiner will be at the Lake City Area Arts Center, 105 W. Center St., from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 15. The event is free and open to the public.
The new book explores the history of many of the bridges that span the Mississippi River and its extensive tributaries, and includes 142 photos of the selected bridges.
