Lincoln High School teacher Candy Wait earns doctorate degree

In what is believed to be a first in the Lake City school district, Lincoln High School English teacher Candance Wait earned a doctor of philosophy of education, or doctorate, degree earlier this year.
North Central University, an online accredited university, awarded the degree. Wait completed the coursework over several years while continuing to teach at Lincoln High School.
