The Lake City Kiwanis Club was gifted by the presentation of the very talented foreign exchange student Clara Loda of Italy.

Clara, whose home is in northern Italy, misses the snow, as do many Minnesotans.

She has a bright future and plans to study medicine—perhaps in the United States—after she finishes her final year of high school in Italy.

She likes Lake City but misses what in her country is called “time to do nothing.”
