National Day of Prayer event planned for Patton Park
Organizers are planning a local observance of National Day of Prayer in Lake City.
“The National Day of Prayer is a day set aside by congress to pray for our civic leaders,” organizers said. “Here in Lake City, we are holding a National Day of Prayer observance in Patton Park on Thursday, May 2, at 6 p.m.
“All churches and community members are invited. Many of the churches the Lake City area are committed to attend this event and pray. This is a nonpartisan, nondenominational gathering to pray for our federal, state and local leaders.
