Participants, volunteers still welcome at Humane Society 5K-9 event on May 18
The Hiawatha Animal Humane Society’s (HAHS) Lake City 5K-9 Fun Run/Walk is now just over a week away.
The date is Saturday, May 18 at Ohuta Park (at Chestnut and Park Streets) in Lake City. Check-in is at 8:30 a.m. and the race begins at 9 a.m.
We do still need just a few more people who are willing to help us with set up for this super fun event! If you haven’t already, we hope you will participate, and even better yet, do so along with your four legged best friend in this, our eighth annual race!
