Berlin, Wallerich golf at state
Two Lake City boys golfers competed in the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) Boys State Class AA Golf Tournament on June 11 and June 12, senior Noah Wallerich and junior Braxton Berlin.
On Monday, June 10th the two Lake City golfers played a 9-hole practice round with Archie Nelson and Noah Teeter from Albert Lea. That evening, they attended the annual MSHSL State Golfers’ Banquet.
On Tuesday, Wallerich birdied 2 holes and had 5 pars to finish 40-49-89, meanwhile Berlin finished with 39-45-84, with 1 birdie and 6 pars.
