Block 15 project begins, sea wall and Hok-Si-La sewer likely next year

A project to reconstruct storm sewer service and other utilities in a downtown alleyway has begun, but two other projects previously slated for 2024 will likely occur in 2025 instead.

The City of Lake City received money in a state bonding bill to help pay for a new seawall in Ohuta Park and to connect Hok-Si-La Park to the city sewer system.
