Heise and Frost teammate throw out first pitch at Twins game

Lake City native and professional hockey player Taylor Heise and her Minnesota Frost teammate Grace Zumwinkle threw out the ceremonial first pitch at the Minnesota Twins game Monday, Sept. 9, at Target Field.

“Throwing out the first pitch at a twin’s game has been on Taylor’s wish list for a long time,” Taylor’s mother, Amy Heise, said.

Taylor and Zumwinkle used the Professional Women’s Hockey League championship trophy, the Walter Cup, to carry their baseballs to the mound.
