Girls wrestle in final regular season competition
On Jan. 30 the Lake City High School girls wrestling team traveled to Byron for their final competition of the regular season.
Eight of nine girls were able to get matches with the Tigers winning 6 of the 9 matches wrestled. Junior Ella Weist led off the night with a 14-5 major decision win.
This was followed by 3 consecutive wins from eighth grader Tahli Meyer and juniors Madyson Skifton and Eva Fort. Meyer and Skifton each won by pin while Fort won a hard-fought 6-2 decision.
