County board approves solar project near Lake City

Wabasha County Supervisors on March 4 approved a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) request by Ralph Addonizio of Novel Energy Solutions, a solar energy company in St. Paul, for a 1 Megawatt commercial solar energy system.
Addonizio submitted a CUP application on Jan. 21, requesting to operate a commercial solar energy system in an Agricultural Protection District (A-1) on about 315.83 acres in Mount Pleasant Township, about four miles southwest of Lake City.
