Lions White Cane sale to be May 7
The Lake City Lions Club will conduct a white cane fund raiser on Saturday, May 7 to collect monies to help the blind and individuals with visual impairments.
Lions Club members will be stationed at Fiesta Foods, Burger King and both Kwik Trip locations to receive donations from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. All monies will be sent to the Minnesota Lions Vision Foundation at the University of Minnesota.
Donors will receive a miniature white cane to remember and honor those who are dealing with blindness and eye sight issues.
