Habitat for Humanity project helps local family through Aging in Place program

Goodhue County Habitat for Humanity recently completed home upgrades for Lee and Sharon Eggenberger of Lake City through its Aging in Place program—a service designed to help older adults remain in their homes safely and comfortably, according to a news release.

The project began when Sharon Eggenberger reached out on social media seeking assistance. She was quickly connected with the local Habitat affiliate.

After meeting with Habitat’s Home Revitalization Team, the Eggenbergers’ project moved from planning to action.
