Sunday sunshine, music, and ice cream

There’s something timeless about Dixieland Jazz in the park with lawn chairs and straw hats. But when the Woman’s Club adds free ice cream, well, that just takes it to another level. The weather cooperated and the Turkey River All Stars were at their best, drawing a crowd of about 130 people who gave them a standing ovation on July 6 in Patton Park.
