Guided paddle group gets first-hand look at sedimentation issues facing Wells Creek

A group of Lake City–area residents joined Lake Pepin Legacy Alliance on Tuesday, Aug. 19, for a guided paddle to the Wells Creek delta. The outing, supported by the Greater Lake City Community Foundation, highlighted both the science and beauty of a tributary that is steadily reshaping the shoreline where it meets Lake Pepin.
