Knudsen tells Kiwanis Club about equine assisted therapy practice
Kiwanian Jen White welcomed Stephanie Knudsen to talk about her counseling practice Hope Reins Christian Counseling, which is unique in that it provides equine therapy as well traditional talk therapy.
Her four horses, one pony, a donkey and four staff members provide time with these animals when patients request it. Christian counseling is also by request.
They also offer parent education and support, riding lessons, family therapy, team building and birthday parties as well.
