A career night for Brand in boys’ victory over PEM

Simon Brand scored a career-high 17 points as the Lake City High School boys basketball team survived a frantic final minute to beat Plainview-Elgin-Millville 67-63 in the regular season finale on Thursday, Feb. 19. The Tigers saw a 20-point lead be trimmed all the way down to two points before Brand scored with 12.7 seconds left for the final margin.
