Many serious health conditions don’t cause symptoms at first. Routine health screenings help catch problems early when they’re easier to treat, less costly, and outcomes are better. Staying up to date on recommended screenings is one of the most effective ways to protect your health and quality of life at every age.
Birth to 1 year
• Screenings: Newborn metabolic/genetic tests, hearing, heart checks, growth, vaccines, lead (12 months)
• Why: Catch conditions early to prevent complications
