A monthlong celebration of reading at Bluff View
Bluff View Elementary School wrapped up a successful I Love to Read Month, in which students competed for Reading Gold.
Each grade had goals set for each medal, bronze, silver, and gold. Collectively the students earned nearly 70 bronze medals, 125 silver, and more than 200 gold medals. That added up to more than 2,500 picture books read by kindergarten and first grade, 48,000 minutes read by second, third, and fourth grades, and 700 chapter books read by fifth and sixth grades in one month.
