Library program will show how to turn discarded books into upcycled journals

The Lake City Public Library still has a few openings in the Upcycled Journals with Big Raven Farms class for ages 16 and up on Tuesday, April 28, at 5:30 p.m. Join Joleen Emery for an exciting and eco-friendly workshop where she will guide you in creating a beautiful handmade journal made from discarded books! She will teach you the art of transforming old, unloved books into unique, personalized travelers’ notebooks.
