Sullivan shares story with Kiwanis Club
Lake City Kiwanis Club member Heather Thomas welcomed Ryan Sullivan to tell his moving life story at a recent meeting.
He was encouraged to try law enforcement at Winona State. This led to a job with the Red Wing Police Department as a patrol officer and eventually to becoming the school officer for Red Wing Public Schools.
Being a people person and father of three, this went well for him until Covid: too many tragic deaths and incidents led him to despair.
Ryan is very open about his near escape from serious self harm.
