Sultry walk kicks off Walking Lake Pepin

Wednesday night, June 10, Mother Nature blessed Walking Lake Pepin (WLP) with a steamy but storm-free night for WLP’s first group walk of the season at Hok-Si-La Park.

Thirteen walkers met at the park office to hear Ann Nibbe, a member of the newly formed “Friends of Hok-Si-La Park” group, give a well-researched and informative presentation about the history of Hok-Si-La Park.
