Mill and overlay project begins

The City of Lake City will begin its 2026 Mill and Overlay Street Improvement Project this summer. The project has been awarded to Monarch Paving and will include improvements on the following roadway segments:
• W. Marion Street — from S. 8th Street to S. Lakeshore Drive
• Cross Street — from U.S. Highway 63 to W. Lakewood Avenue
