Kiwanis learns about Mistry’s journey from finance to Ford dealer
Lake City Ford owner Daraius Mistry was the guest speaker at a recent Lake City Kiwanis Club meeting.
He moved to Texas from India with his family at age five. He has a degree in finance but missed contact with people contact so cars became his passion. He purchased his first dealership in 2003.
He moved to Minnesota with his wife and two children in January after looking at eight Ford dealerships nationwide. The Texas weather prepared him for adversarial weather here.
