Patricia Boysen obituary

Patricia Floy Boysen, 90, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 28, 2026.  She was the beloved wife of Gerald Stanley Boysen, with whom she was married for 68 years.  Pat and Jerry met in Lake City, Minnesota in 1952.  Their marriage began in Edina, Minnesota and was followed by residences in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, East Brunswick, New Jersey, Long Beach Island, New Jersey and Naples, Florida prior to moving to Downingtown, Pennsylvania in 2022.    
Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, she was the daughter of the late Dedrieuk and Marjorie Kelsey Heppner.
Pat had a varied career in nursing, beginning in 1956 as a Stewardess Nurse on the North Coast Limited trainline between Seattle and Chicago, followed by Horne’s department store in Pittsburgh working as the in-store accident care nurse and at Rutgers University’s Healthcare Center. Additionally, she spent 15 years selling real estate in central New Jersey. She loved to shop for clothes and jewelry, entertain friends and family and enjoyed spending time on the golf course.  
In addition to her husband, Pat is survived by her daughter Kelly Dohoney and her husband, Bob.  Her son Marshal and his wife Dawn have two daughters, Molly and Hannah. Pat is also survived by five brothers and their spouses, and her sister and husband, all of whom reside in various locations across the US.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, Pennsylvania. Family and friends will be received between 9:45 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.
Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Downingtown, Pennsylvania.
