SUMMARY OF SCHOOL BOARD MEETING MINUTES

The School Board of ISD #813 met in regular session on July 20, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the Lincoln Media Center. Complete minutes are on file in the Superintendent’s Office, 300 S. Garden St., Lake City, MN 55041 or at www.lake-city.k12.mn.us. 6 board members and 6 community members were present.
1. Adopt agenda (mcu).
2. Board Member Minute given by each board member.
3. Principal Berge gave the High School report in written form.  
4. Principal Aeschlimann gave the Bluff View report in written form.
5. Dir. Kvasnicka gave the Comm Ed report in written form.
6. Supt. Wright gave her report.
7. Board members gave reports on recent committee meetings.
8. Community Facilities Informational Meeting - Thursday, July 23, 2026 at 6:00 p.m.
9. Aug. 17, 2026 - next regular Board meeting at 7:00 p.m.
10. Solar Ribbon Cutting - August TBD at Bluff View Elementary School.
11. Adopted consent agenda (mcu).
12. Approved the Resolution Establishing Dates for Filing Affidavits of Candidacy for office of School Board members (mcu).
13. Approved the review of policies 301, 302, 303, 304, 305, 306 (mcu).
14. Approved the transfer of bad debt to general fund (mcu).
15. Approved the consideration of MDE’s FY 2028 long term facility maintenance revenue-expenditure (mcu).
16. Approved LC and Family Service Rochester MOA (mcu).
17. Approved the Lake City Principal contract for 2026-2029 (mcu).
18. Approved the contract for the 2026-2027 school year with Lunchtime Solutions (mcu).
19. Approved the contract for juvenile/school resource officer between City of LC and ISD 813 (mcu).
20. Approved the resolution for donations & gifts (mcu).
21. A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 7:20 p.m. (mcu).
