Girls tennis starts season 4-0

The Lake City Tiger girls tennis team has gotten off to a strong start, opening the 2026 season with a 4-0 record.
The Tigers began the season at home against Baldwin-Woodville, earning a 5-2 victory. Lake City dominated the singles competition, winning all four matches. Thèrèse Bauer defeated Katie Kroening 6-0, 6-0, while Gemma Bauer defeated Kallie Schutz 6-0, 6-1. Rylee Thieren posted a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Tessa Crowly, and Julia Huettl defeated Ellen Anderson 6-1, 6-1.
