History gathering for Oakwood Cemetery planned for Aug. 28

Editor’s note: Maren Holst has spent years researching rural cemeteries in Wabasha County. She’s organized a potluck history gathering to share information about Oakwood Cemetery and the former site of St. James Church near County Road 86 north of Plainview from noon to 4 p.m. on Aug. 28 at the Theilman Opera House.
