Postians' hire completes public works department revamp
Neil Postians has been hired to serve as Lake City’s new public works electric superintendent. He starts July 7.
The City Council approved the selection at its June 13 meeting over the objections of Council Member Greg Schreck who was asked why an existing exployee was not promoted from within.
The position had been filled on an interim basis for about four years.
Mayor Joel Beckman said the selection of Postian was made following city hiring procedures.
