Highway 42 bridge project delayed

The start of the Highway 42 bridge replacement project in Elgin is being postponed to Monday, July 11, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT).
Once the project begins, motorists on Highway 42 will be detoured around the bridge replacement project on the north side of Elgin. The six-day delay is to ensure the receipt of permits needed to begin the project.
