Blood drive to be July 28-29

Lake City’s summer blood drive is scheduled for Thursday, July 28 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday, July 29 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The collection site is the United Methodist Church, 213 North Oak Street, Lake City.
The public’s help is needed. The American Red Cross currently has a significant blood shortage. With less than a five-day blood supply on hand, blood donations are more important than ever.
