Last walk to be a church tour
The final group walk for the season sponsored by Walking Lake Pepin, with a walking moai, is planned for Thursday, Aug. 11, at 6 p.m. The group will meet at Bethany Church, 525 S. 6th Street. The group will proceed on 6th street to Lyon Avenue to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Mark’s Episcopal Church and First Congregational Church. The group will then head to First United Methodist Church, St. John’s Lutheran Church, New Hope Baptist Church ending up at the previous site of First Lutheran Church at Doughty and Prairie Streets.
