Wabasha County approves Elgin agronomony center over neighbors' objections

With a packed house in attendance for their August 2 meeting,. the Wabasha County Board of Commissioners voted 4-1 to approve a conditional use permit (CUP) for Progressive Ag to move their farm chemicals operation to a location in Elgin township.

There has been strong opposition to this move, for environmental and aesthetic reasons.
