Group tours Albert Lea, Stewartville

On Thursday, Aug. 4., a bus load of Lake Citians hit the road for Albert Lea, Minn.  These 22 dedicated citizens, who were willing to give up their precious time and make the effort, were rewarded with a full day of information, statistics, debates, speakers, tours, interviews, (a bag lunch) and lots of data to consider regarding Lake City’s timely matter concerning the conversion of Highway 61 from 4-lanes to 3-lanes.
