The Lake City Community, Schools, and Music Boosters will be honored in an upcoming concert band composition by noted Minnesota composer Lane Powell.
The capstone event will be a world premiere performance of the work by the Lake City High School Concert Band on Thursday, March 23.  The collaborating director from Lake City is Paul Holland.
As the Lake City Music Boosters approach their 40th anniversary they continue to support choral and instrumental music in the Lake City Schools and community and operate under the following mission statement;
