Helping the young to discover the past
Mike Burke has made a career of his belief that young people should have a chance to learn about their parents’ and grandparents’ past.
He will bring his passion to the second annual Junk Crush in downtown Lake City Saturday and Sunday.
Burke and his Barndogglers crew will conduct demonstrations and answer questions during a program at 1 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sunday at the outdoor festival on Washington and Center Streets.
