Finance director takes a bow after final budget is approved

City Finance Director Barb Pratt had lots of business to bring before the City Council Monday night.
When she was done, she left the council chambers - for good.
Pratt shepherded the council through preliminary approval of next year’s tax levy and general fund budget.
She presented a new contract proposal for city audits.
And she was honored by Mayor Joel Beckman and council members with a standing ovation.
