Hope Coalition aims to prevent family violence
State and federal funds provide resources for much of Hope Coalition’s efforts but the non-profit service agency is moving into a new area - prevention - that will require more private participation.
To that end, local residents are holding a “Stop the Violence” fund-raiser in Lake City Oct. 6.
Hope Coalition provides sexual assault services in Wabasha and Goodhue counties and an array of services in Goodhue County addressing child abuse, domestic violence, homelessness and a lack of basic needs.
